Information you provide to us directly
We welcome questions, feedback, and inquiries. If you choose to contact us, you may purposefully or
inadvertently disclose Personal Information via e-mail, phone, our web form, or any other method of contact. To
protect your data, we recommend limiting the amount of Personal Information provided during your initial contact
with us. We will inform you if additional information is needed to help us respond to your request.
In the event we engage with you in product or service offerings, we will also collect information about you
and/or your organization as is necessary to define and formalize a contractual relationship with you.
Information collected passively when browsing our website
We use
Fathom as our web analytics tool, due to
their
privacy-oriented
focus, to collect the following data about you:
- IP address
- Type of device used to access at our site (e.g., mobile, desktop, tablet, etc.)
- Pages browsed (which articles and/or pages were viewed)
- Timestamp (time and day a page was clicked on).
Personal Information we collect about you may be utilized to provide you with
information regarding products and services we offer or to fulfill our obligations arising from any requests
made or contracts entered into between you and Good Research.
Web analytics data provides us with insight as to how our website is being used. This includes how many visitors
we get, which pages on the website are the most popular, locations where people are accessing the website from,
and more.
We do not sell your Personal Information. We do not share Personal Information with third parties other than for
purposes outlined in this Notice.
Good Research is headquartered in the United States. As such, any information
collected about you outside of the United States will be transferred to the United States for processing and
retention.
Third Parties (and how we use them):
We use a variety of third-party service providers in order to deliver our products and services to you,
including (but not limited to) our website. However, depending upon your interactions with us, it is likely that
only a subset of third parties would be permitted to process personal information on our behalf. For example,
visitors of the website will engage a smaller subset of service providers than individuals to whom we deliver
consulting services.
- IT and Infrastructure Service Providers
- We share personal information with third-party vendors associated with the delivery of products
and services you request from us, customer relationship management, development and stewardship

facilitation, contractual negotiation, project management, business analytics, and financial

- Partner Organizations
- Good Research is an active partner with Data Curious, a non-profit community awareness
organization. As such, requests for support that you submit via datacurious.org may be
shared
with Good Research for fulfillment, including any requests or inquiries that you submit to Data

In the event Good Research merges with, is acquired by, or is sold to another corporate entity, we may transfer
personal information as an asset of the organization.

This Notice does not address the privacy practices of any third parties, including any third party operating a
website or service to which this website links.
We retain your Personal Information for as long as is necessary to provide you

professional obligations, enforce our agreements, or resolve disputes.
Our website is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not
intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 18. If we obtain knowledge that we
